Instructor: Kevin Gatta #Branding & Identity
The Frick Collection has had a long history in Manhattan. It's historical value not only lies in its art collection, but also in its architecture, which reflects and preserves the Frick's family legend. To emphasize the museum's historical identity, I retained its original logo and extracted decorative elements from its architecture to add on it. The illustrations of door knockers for tickets and other related products are also inspired by the classical ornament of the building.
For final delivery, I chose to print it with silkscreen, which brought out the beautiful white ink on texture papers.
